THRIVE @ The GEMINI Academy

The GEMINI Academy of home to THRIVE, a girls program that has been designed to build confidence in girls.

THRIVE takes a non clinical and holistic approach to health, well-being and movement. THRIVE is a 2 hour weekly program that combines modelling with fitness or modeling with dance. We believe that movement is marvellous! With a little extra movement, our moods improve, we increase our productivity, we reduce stress and we have fun!

Our fitness and dance classes are taught by former professional dancer and ballet instructor Meaghan Dietrich. Classes will focus on positive-self image, internal/ external strength, age appropriate exercises, proper techniques, ease of movement and will be centred around fun!

Our Modelling classes will be taught by Agency Models Mikela Correia, Haley Falco and Director Meaghan Dietrich. We use modelling as a vehicle to teach girls about themselves, to set goals, live with purpose, build confidence and to be supportive of each other.

By adding a fitness and dance component onto our current modelling classes, we will be able to encompass healthy habits, a healthy mind and a health body with one great program, THRIVE!

The GEMINI Academy annually presents the KW GIRL Fashion Show.

Our girls programs embody what it means to be beautiful from the inside and out. For many students, their full year program is a year of personal growth through self-care, trying new things, getting involved in the community, building confidence, making new friends and working on achieving personal goals.

The KW GIRL Fashion Show includes 2 Fashion Shows featuring more than 200 outfits from Conestoga Mall, La Crème and Plato’s Closet.

We welcome everyone from the community to join in the fun. Gather your nieces, call on your gal-pals or surprise your daughter or granddaughter with a ticket to the KW GIRL Fashion Show!
